Finally, it is here............ I know you might think i am talking about the deservedly much discussed first African World cup which has become the operative topic recently. I am now talking about the long awaited Korone Flashback DVD which is a follow up of the recently released Culture Spears CD which is a re-make of their first album and also include a bonus 2010 song called;Afrika 2010. The song praised South Africa for being the first african country to host the biggest soccer spectacle in the world-Fifa World Cup. We also praised the Bafana Bafana players by the way trying to encourage them to work hard when facing opponents such as France which they eventually walloped 2-1 as opposed to our predicted 1-0. The Dvd has been in market since Thursday last week and by Saturday it was available in Francistown music stores. In Gaborone the Dvd and Cd's are available at Ming Hai at the Oriental Plaza and some hawkers at the bus rank and main mall. I would like to urge people not be bitter because the host nation did not qualify for the second round but rather let us be hopeful and cheer Ghana all the way to the finals and celebrate as Africans when they are crowned cup winners on the 11th of July. As the soccer spectacle is nearer to completion or to the end, i think many people will now resort to their old days of listening and watching some local music. I would like to urge people to go out and buy both the dvd and cd because the two compliment each othe in a way that what you did not comprehend when listening can be understood better when watching.Make having a copy of Korone Flashback DVd one of your important things to do this month and do not forget that the group is yet to release their fourth album which you should also be anticipating.
