FoundationCULTURE SPEARS FOUNDATIONIt goes without say, we should always give back to the community.Culture Spears donated blankets, toiletry and other small items to the children’s home popularly known as SOS at the Tlokweng Kgotla on May 12th. A member of Culture Spears Kabelo Mogwe said “the main thing in giving is love; we are showing the children love”. He said they do this annually and appealed to other musicians and the nation at large to give. The guest speaker at the event, Minister of Lands and Housing Nonofo Molefi said people do not give out of abundance but give because they see someone in need compared to themselves. He said if musicians don’t stand up no one will, saying “we are each other’s keeper”. He said he connected the ceremony to the theme of June 16 that says; Children must be heard and seen. Molefi said the gifts were a sign that Culture Spears had opened their eyes to see where there is a need.
